It's real enough. I actually saw it once. I was prowling through the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. I wasn't doin' nothin'. Just prowlin' through the Pine Barrens...I didn't FEEL like doin' nothin' so I was just prowlin' along...then a weird noise or cry made me look up. And THERE----about Five feet away...was The Jersey Devil! I stared in awe...then something whizzed past me. "What?" you may ask, A sign reading Los Angeles City Limits. I've never been to Jersey since.

I've heard ton of stories on how the New Jersey devil came to be. I believe in it but whether its's real or not, all the stories are pretty much the same thing. A lot of the tales say ounce a child was born and started becoming deformed after his mother said she wanted her next child to be a devil a big difference is that in a lot of stories the child turned into a devil and killed everyone and left but in other storie(s) (I only heard like one like this) the mom raised him in secret. .

Zanzibar was the only other sound system that came anywhere close to The Paradise Garage's system. Both systems by Richard Long but Larry Levan would constantly keep tweaking the Garage's system day after day and night after night. Til there was nothing else like it. Once The Garage closed in 1987, The system of choice was hands down Club Zanzibars!

After both cities finished their Hip-Hop shows on Friday and Saturday nights they would play, what we called it back in the day, "Club or Garage Music, from two to about five o' clock in the morning. Ok, here is a classic example of why you should refuse to talk to the police. I noticed this at the very end of the video. The officer said you are now being stopped for a cracked windshield. If the guy would have refused to speak to them he would not have said he drove the car, that was used against him to give him a ticket for contempt of cop basically. But the cop then asked if he drove the car and he said yes. He incriminated himself, and he didn't have to. Tricks cops play.
